Online Course Technical Help

Hi, and welcome to the United Kingdom Academy of Integrative Therapy’s online course help page. My name is Paul Henderson, course director and founder of UKAIT. On this page, I will show you how to navigate the enrolment process. I will also show you how to navigate the course and avoid common errors. I will show you how to recover your password and what to do should you get locked out. Finally, there are contact details should you require assistance.

Enrolling Procedure

If you wish to enrol on the course, simply click the ‘Take this Course‘ button and you will be directed to registration. Fill in the registration form and set your password, then click Register.

Important Note: please make a note of your username and password as you will use these to login to the course later. Also, these are case-sensitive so check for upper and lower case characters.

After clicking Register, you will be presented with the following page:

Click the ‘Take this Course‘ button again. This will take you to Paypal for payment – as below….

After completing the payment section, you will be presented with the following screen and redirected back to you account page on our website

Your Account Page

On your account page, you will see the course link at the bottom (in this case, Alcoholic to Alchemist). You can also change your profile details and password here.

Click the course link and you will go to the course home page. Note: the menu is on the right-hand side on the home page (see below). When you go to the first module, the screen will expand and the menu will be situated on the right-hand-side (as in the next image)

The course is comprised of modules and topics. The clear buttons on the menu denote a module, and the pink buttons will display the amount of topics in that module. If you click the pink buttons, the menu will expand to reveal the topics. You can also use the ‘expand all‘ button at the top to reveal all the modules. Note: not all modules contains topics within. Here’s an example of a module:

In the top right-hand-side of the screen you will see the following icon; your profile picture. If you hover the mouse over it, you will see two options: go back to the course page or logout.

After your first login via the enrolment process, you will login here: Course Login & Your Course List | The United Kingdom Academy of Integrative Therapy (alc2alc.com)

After logging in you will be presented with the following screen, which lists all your courses. Simply click the link of any course to take you to the course home page.

How to Deal with Common Technical Issues

If you keep getting your password or username wrong, STOP after three attempts and reset your password. If you continue and enter it erroneously five times, you wil be locked out of the system for 2 hours. During this period, YOU CANNOT RESET YOUR PASSWORD.

in addition, passwords are case sensitive, so be certain to use upper case and lower case characters appropriately.

After enrolling you may recieve an email with a link to change your password, this is optional. Most people simply use the password they set at registration.
